NCAA football playoff simulator. The BCS sucks. I’ve talked about that before. So, if we can’t have the real thing at least we can pretend.
Who owns who in the media world. This is almost 5 years old, but not much is changed in the way of ownership that I know of. Interesting, note where they’ve all made financial contributions.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmajinejad has a blog! Seriously, it’s true. Blogroll anyone? Ok, how about a more serious blogroll consideration. If you haven’t read or heard this guy preach, you’re really missing out.
Shane Claiborne talks about creative, imaginative acts of consumer subversion during the Christmas–or should I say Advent–season. (See also the Advent Conspiracy and their video I posted the other day.)
In that vein, it looks like we’ll end up collectively wasting around $474.5 billion ($347.44 per person) on Christmas consumption this year. Less than last year, but still sickening.
