Les Miles & Michigan

I’m planning on finishing up series on The Story of God and my thoughts on the bible, but I’ve been pretty busy lately and it’s looking like it may be after Christmas before I get around to it.  Bonnie and I will be making three different trips over the holiday beginning this weekend.  So blogging will be intermittent.

Anyway, I know this is old news but I was thinking the other day about the whole Les Miles is getting the Michigan coaching job fiasco.  First let me say that I dislike Les Miles about as much as I can dislike a person.  I think he’s an arrogant, pompous, self-absorbed slimeball.  He and Nick Saban are the lowest of the low as far as I’m concerned.  I think college football needs more people like Pete Carroll and Mark Mangino coaching.

So, here’s the deal.  I think if West Virginia had won against Pitt (knocking LSU out of the Sugar Bowl) Les Miles would be the coach at Michigan right now regardless of what he or anyone else previously said.  But since LSU is playing for the national championship he decided to stay.  That’s what I think.  There.  I said it.  Call me a hater, but that’s what I think.
