I absolutely love music. I am a musician. I love to play music. I love to listen to music. I love to talk about music. I love to create music. I love you music.
Every so often I discover a new artist that really gets me fired up and I wonder why in the world I hadn’t found said artist earlier. Well, thanks to Josh Brown and Ford I’ve discovered one such artist. Band of Horses.
The first time I heard their song “The Funeral” on the Ford Edge commercial, I could’ve sworn it was Coldplay just because of the vocal interlude. It seemed very Chris Martin-ish. And since Coldplay is expected to release their fourth studio album soon, I thought it might be a new single or something. But it wasn’t. After doing some research, I discovered Band of Horses, an indie rock band from the south, and I’ve been wearing them out since then. It’s that good.
And of course, within a week or two I’ll probably be sick of them because we I discover new music that it this good I burn myself out. But that’s ok. It’s that good.
Check them out. We’ll worth a listen.

Band of Horses is really really good. Both of their albums are stellar.

Loved it, with all the mediums i use to find new music this band slipped by me and i dont know how. This is one of those bands that wont be sold and marketed to us. proof that we have to keep looking and we will find the best music possible. Go watch their letterman clips on you tube they are even better live. There are some promises about the upcoming Coldplay album , that it will be best effort thus far, i can’t wait.

nick and phil. thanks for the input. i agree. it’s amazing how much good underground, indie music there is out there. much better than most of the commercialized, domesticated stuff.
