New Nooma and America’s Most “Sinful” Cities

February 19th, 2008 · 1 Comment

The past few days have been pretty hectic for me, and unfortunately I haven’t had time to write anything with some quality content. So, offer some links you may or may not find of interest.

1.) New Nooma video premiere on Facebook. I’m a fan of Rob Bell. And, I’m a fan of the Nooma videos. The latest video is called “Open” and is premiering on Facebook for 48 hours only. As of my writing, it started 14 hours ago. That means that by the time you read this you’ll have less than 6 hours to watch it. Catch it while you can. [Ht. Emergent Village]

2.) Forbes Article: America’s Most Sinful Cities.  From my del.icio.us. This is an article that analyzes major cities in the US according to the seven deadly sins, thus determining what America’s most sinful (their nomenclature not mine) cities are. I was interested, but not really surprised to see my own city listed:

For Glutton (the 8th most obese city in the US, we love to eat out!):

And Envy (the 9th highest property crime rate in the US, we don’t mind takin’ a lil’ either!):

Read the entire article and see all the maps here. [Ht. TSK]
