Mark Driscoll on King David

Mark Driscoll had this to say about the Hebrew Bible character at a conference in Houston last week, “Yeah, he might have played a lyre, but he slaughtered thousands of guys.”  Beacause that sounds a lot like Jesus doesn’t it? Read the whole article here. [Ht. EV]

      Too bad he didn’t care to expound on the ever-so-mysterious relationship between David and Jonathan.

      @jonathan. yes of course. what makes it even funnier is that sometimes, when speaking of driscoll, the satire could very well pass as the truth.
