Tuesday
A little over 300 miles. We stopped in Hastings, Michigan to visit Bonnie’s aunt, uncle, and cousin. Got there late in the afternoon. The weather was absolutely perfect. We walked around town a bit and spent the rest of the day visiting and resting. Pretty uneventful, but very relaxing.
Wednesday

Wednesday was a fun day. We went out to the camp were Bonnie’s aunt Shannon works and got to do some pretty cool stuff like handling snakes and watching mudpuppies eat crickets. We spent the remainder of the day resting and relaxing (again!) and watched 10,000 B.C. (horrible movie by the way).
Thursday
Almost 400 miles today. We left Hastings, drove by Detroit, through Cleveland, across Ohio and caught a glimpse of Lake Erie in the process.

We reached a major milestone when our trip meter — which I reset as we left Vinita — reached 1000 miles today.
We drove through Cleveland — which was pretty intense, I’m glad Bonnie was navigating — and would’ve stopped by the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame had we had more time.

And we had to stop on the road more than once for construction and accidents. No fun.
Tomorrow it’s off to Buffalo, NY to see Niagra Falls, across New York state and hopefully at or past Albany for the night since we’re not due in Boston until Saturday morning.

I know it must have been an exhausting, and emotional trip-but it looks so exciting and such a great adventure to have…
I can’t wait to hear about your new life in Boston-and see pictures of course!!
